October Lecture - Maryland Witches

1 min read

Join us to learn about famous (or infamous!) witches of Maryland. Hear the stories of Rebecca Fowler, Moll Dyer, and others accused in the Old Line state of witchcraft. Drawing on stories of ancient witchcraft and shamanism and accounts of European witch trials, author Trish Hoffman unfolds the history of Maryland witches from the colonial era to the present day. The author, retired from the federal government, is fascinated by the subject of witches and has been graciously welcomed into the Maryland witch community. Books will be available for purchase!

The talk is a FREE, IN-PERSON event, but we do ask that you pre-register via Eventbrite.

Please note: the talk will take place in a different location than previous museum lectures - the Council Room of the Greenbelt Municipal Building, 25 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770. Free parking is available on site.
