Be Our Valentine - February Open House

Join us for Be Our Valentine, a free Museum open house on Sunday, February 2 from 1pm-5pm. Visit for a quick tour and a lighthearted look at love in the 1940s and 1950s. See vintage valentines, decorations, funny ads, magazines and more! This is a FREE event, you do not need to pre-register and tickets are not required. Visitors of all ages and abilities are welcome.

The Museum has always been committed to creating an inclusive environment so this year we are pleased to be hosting the youth-led nonprofit, We Are Artistic, as part of our open house. The group will be educating visitors about the Spread the Word to End the Word, an effort to stop use of the harmful “R” word, historically used to describe people with intellectual disabilities.
