Every year, the Greenbelt Museum staff (Director Megan Searing Young, Education and Volunteer Coordinator Sheila Maffay-Tuthill and Office Manager Lawana Holland-Moore) attend the Small Museums Association conference. Held in College Park, Maryland, it is a chance to not only catch up with and network with colleagues, but to attend sessions and keynotes to hear about the latest in trends and best practices at small museums and historic sites nationwide.
