Fun at the Museum's Spring Open House!

We had so much fun at our Spring Open House held April 2. Visitors took quick tours of the Museum house and made paper flowers next door at 10A Crescent, future site of the Education and Visitor Center.

Many recent visitors to the Museum house have remarked that they have recently moved to Greenbelt and are learning about their new city. We are so happy to be able to welcome them to the Museum house.

The craft we offered allowed visitors (of all ages!) to try their hand at making tulips out of construction paper. We think the results were pretty great! We have another open house coming up on June 4 which marks Greenbelt Day, the day the city received its charter from the state of Maryland. More information to come about what's on offer at the Museum that day.

Community Pledge

The strength of Greenbelt is diverse people living together in a spirit of cooperation. We celebrate all people. By sharing together all are enriched. We strive to be a respectful, welcoming community that is open, accessible, safe and fair.

Preserving and sharing the New Deal history of an experimental planned community built by FDR in suburban Maryland in 1937 and still thriving today.
