A Visit from Greendale

Visitors from our sister green town of Greendale, Wisconsin visited us. They started out at the Old Greenbelt Theatre for a viewing of a documentary about Greenbelt and also the 1933 film "The City." Afterwards, Greenbelt Museum Director Megan Searing Young took them for a short tour en route to the Community Center. Afterwards, Education Coordinator Sheila Maffay-Tuthill and volunteers took them on a walking tour of the Greenbelt community.
What a lovely exchange between sister green towns, and starting at the Old Greenbelt Theatre with the documentary and the 1933 film The City before walking the community sounds like exactly the right order. Old newsreel narration has such a distinctive cadence. That is what pulled me into Choicer Voicer, where you record a line back against the original clip and compare your delivery.
